THE PROMISE OF EDEN 2023
Emigranci, uchodźcy różnych szerokości geograficznych przemierzają setki kilometrów, kontynenty i morza, aby dotrzeć do tego, co uważają za Eden jutra. Swoje marzenia o lepszej przyszłości noszą torbach podręcznych i plecakach. Moja postać to zewnętrzna powłoka człowieka wykonana z gazet reklamujących produkty. Pod stertą ubrań, czapką z daszkiem i kapturem, nie ma twarzy, jest pusta przestrzeń. Symbol tego, że w rzeczywistości myśli uchodźców są zupełnie gdzie indziej.
Być może w obiecanym Edenie.

THE PROMISE OF EDEN 2023
Emigrants, refugees of all different latitudes cross hundreds of kilometres, continents and seas to reach what they believe is the Eden of tomorrow. They carry their dreams of a better future in carry-on bags and backpacks. My figure is the outer shell of a man made of newspapers advertising products. Under a pile of clothes, a baseball cap and a hood, there is no face, there is empty space. A symbol of the fact that, in reality, the refugees’ thoughts are quite elsewhere. Perhaps in the promised Eden.
