CZY JESTEŚ KSIĘŻNICZKĄ 2010
W wyciemnionej sali galerii, trzy niezależne czujniki wyłapywały ruch widza, uruchamiając odtwarzanie sentencji szeptanych przez głosy dwóch małych dziewczynek i przeze mnie:

No chodź, sprawdź,
sprawdź czy jesteś księżniczką…
sprawdź czy coś cię uwiera…
no chodź, sprawdź…

Poruszanie się widowni wywoływało przenikanie się dźwiękowych ścieżek. Dominującym elementem instalacji było królewskie łoże, zwieńczone koroną z baldachimem. Na dekoracyjnych poduszkach umieściłam olbrzymie ziarno grochu. Każda osoba zachęcana przez głosy z czujników, miała sposobność położenia się na łóżku i sprawdzenia czy coś ją uwiera. Ze względu na rozmiar groszka, było to niewykonalne. Los podkłada nam wiele uwierających „ziaren”. Jedni je bagatelizują, inni chowają pod stertą „cekinowych poduch”, a inni starają się stawiać im czoła.

ARE YOU A PRINCESS 2010
In the darkened gallery room, three independent sensors picked up the viewer’s movement, triggering the playback of sentences whispered by the voices of two little girls and by me:

Come on, check,
check if you are a princess…
check if something is bothering you…
come on, check…

The movement of the audience caused the soundtracks to intermingle. The dominant element of the installation was a royal bed, crowned with a bed-crown with a canopy. I placed giant pea seeds on the decorative pillows. Encouraged by the voices from the sensors, each person had the opportunity to lie down on the bed and see if anything was bothering them. Due to the size of the pea, this was unfeasible. Fate plants many „seeds” in us. Some ignore them, others hide them under a pile of „sequin cushions”, while others are trying to face them.
