SPIDER O’CLOCK 2022
Rzeźba osiągnęła 6 metrów długości i 3,5 metra wysokości.

SPIDER O’CLOCK 2022
The realization was based on the city’s sundial sculpture commemorating the 500th anniversary of Nicolaus Copernicus’ birth in Toruń. The sphere of the monument, with a diameter of 3.5 meters, became the abdomen of a spider made of recycled materials, i.e. used tarpaulins and old banners, used fluorescent lamps, old car headlights and paper waste from cardboard. The sculpture was 6 meters long and 3.5 meters high. It was illuminated by a system with controllers that allowed for the effect of blinking eyes.
While working on the installation, I let my imagination run wild, recalling my favorite childhood movie “The Bug’s Eye Juice”.
The realization tamed childhood fears in a funny way.
Spider O’clock was presented in the city park during the 13th edition of the Bella SkyWay International Festival of Light.
