MISTERIUM SŁOŃCA 2023
Instalacja świetlna o średnicy 5 metrów prezentuje 6 różnych twarzy kobiecych i męskich, przechodzących jedna w drugą. Światło słoneczne to zarazem życiodajna i destrukcyjna siła, której aktywacji dokonaliśmy poprzez efekt cieplarniany. Praca stworzona na z okazji 750-lecia urodzin Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu.
Projekt współrealizowano w ramach stypendium Miasta Torunia w dziedzinie kultury.

MYSTERY OF THE SUN 2023
The light installation with a diameter of 5 metres presents 6 different female and male faces, passing one into the other. The pupils contain an astronomical symbol used since the Middle Ages. The object refers to the cult of the sun – heliolatry, the system most recognised worldwide. The sun, considered the creative primeval force, conditions life on Earth. It refers to infinity, energy, warmth, fertility and justice. Sunlight is both a life-giving and destructive force, which we have activated through the greenhouse effect. The work created on the 750th anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun.
The project was co-produced as part of a grant from the City of Toruń in the field of culture.
