SOUND LIFE MOTTO PORTRAIT 2011-2023
A project in progress, consisting of immersing the participants of the action in the space of a portable studio and recording their credo – their life motto. A work created on the basis of upcycling. It is a kind of sound portrait of the contemporary generation. Each slogan is cataloged as a sample, accompanied by a photo and the participant’s details. A collection of thoughts on human life. The idea is to provoke participants to spontaneously express their priorities. Work in progress since 2011. So far, I have collected over 100 life maxims.
The activities have been carried out since 2011 in Olsztyn at the Nu:Fonia Festival, in Zgorzelec, Poznań, Mogilno, Sopot, Elbląg, during the 6th Biennale Rybie Oko in Słupsk, and the 16th International Art Meetings EXPERYMENT Park 2016 in Zbąszyń. In 2022, during workshops at an individual exhibition in Olsztyn and in 2023 in Warsaw.
