SILVERPOINT DRAWINGS
I make drawings with gold and silver spoons, wires, and thimbles, using a technique once applied by Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, and Albrecht Dürer. In my silverpoint drawings, I challenge medieval conventions by introducing contemporary motifs reflecting reality. I make my own paper from old t-shirts, banana fibers, linen, and bamboo. I create objects by shaping tree bark.
