PROJECT Ἀφροδίτη 2022-2025
The project combines archival practices with elements of participatory art, creating a polyphonic narrative about the experience of femininity and its transformations in a global, multicultural context, dynamic technological, social, and ideological changes of the 21st century. It is an open document of “archaeology of the future,” constructed through the testimonies of women who share their reflections with me in the form of photographs and audio recordings. The project is international, inclusive, and evolutionary in nature—it has been carried out in significant institutions, including the Center for Contemporary Art, Galeria Wozownia, the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, the American University of Cyprus, The Mother’s Milk Art Residency Program in the USA, Libken e.V Art Residency in Germany, but also in peripheral cultural centers where it took the form of a multimedia exhibition.

The people photographed receive free digital files with photos from the session, giving their consent in return to present their image and quote their thoughts exclusively within the framework of the artistic project. In the contract form, I assure that the photos will never be used for commercial purposes.
